ISEQ sees slight rise

The ISEQ index of Irish shares rose in today's trading, up 24.22 to 2,074.32, with banking stocks however failing to share in the gains.

AIB finished down 9c or 19.46% to 0.38 while Bank of Ireland fell 8c or 28.52% to 0.19. Irish Life and Permanent meanwhile slid 6c to 0.63.
