ISEQ falls 93 points

The ISEQ index of Irish shares fell 4% this evening, dropping 93 points to 2,076.55 by market close.

All the financial heavyweights lingered in negative territory; Irish Life and Permanent suffered the biggest drop falling 22c to €1.04, AIB was down 4c to 60c with Bank of Ireland down a modest 2c to 34c.
