The ISEQ Index was down 2.63%, or 57.12 points by 11am this morning with the construction sector and the banks suffering falls in their share prices.
The main faller was CRH, the construction firm tumbling 72c to €15.61, while rival Abbey slipped ten cents to €3.30.
