The ISEQ index of Irish shares fell 16 points this evening to 2,173.88 by market close.
There was mostly negative news within the financial sector; AIB dropped 3c off its share price to 63c with Bank of Ireland down 1c to 37c. Irish Life and Permanent however gained 2c to €1.28.
