World recession will be worst since WWII, says stockbroking firm

A leading firm of Irish stockbrokers is predicting that the current worldwide economic downturn will be worst since the Second World War.

Bloxham Stockbrokers says GDP in the developed world is likely to fall by 1% this year for the first time since the Great Depression in the 1930s.
