The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed up 28.88 points to 2,306.91 today, with the financial sector posting gains across the board.
AIB was up 24c or 32.71% to 0.99, with Bank of Ireland rising 15c or 35.48% to 0.57 and Irish Life & Permanent posting a more modest gain, up 3c to 1.63.
