AIB shares slide as ISEQ loses almost 2%

The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed at 2,230.50 today, a drop of 43.25 points or 1.9%.

AIB, though it recovered somewhat from early losses, finished at 45c, down 15c, Bank of Ireland was up 6c to 40c, while Irish Life & Permanent was up 10c to €1.20.
