No Irish stores affected by planned M&S closures

Marks & Spencer has confirmed that no Irish stores will be among the 27 that the retailer is planning to close in response to a fall in sales.

The company is planning to shed more than 1,200 jobs by closing the stores and laying off around 450 people at its head office in the UK.
