Christmas shoppers hit by Lloyds debit card glitch

Lloyds TSB customers had last-minute Christmas shopping plans thwarted this morning when a technical fault meant they could not use their debit cards.

A problem at the bank meant that, for around an hour during the morning, certain transactions made using one of the group’s debit cards were declined.
