The ISEQ index of Irish shares shed most of yesterday's gains in morning trading, dipping 43.01 points to 2,478.34 at 11.30am.
Financials were suffering, with Anglo Irish Bank losing 6c to 0.33, Bank of Ireland down 2c to 0.84 and AIB sliding 9c to 1.75. Irish Life & Permanent however clawed back 4c to 1.50.
