ISEQ dips in morning trading

The ISEQ index of Irish shares dipped 26 points (1%) this morning to 2,634.90 by 11am.

There was a slight drop for AIB, down 5c to €2.20. The rest of the financial heavyweights had very slight gains, Anglo Irish Bank jumped just 3c to 36c, Bank of Ireland was up 2c to €1.02 and Irish Life and Permanent gained a modest 1c to €1.69.
