Gains for ISEQ

The ISEQ index of Irish shares made modest gains this morning, up 50 points to 2,676.79 by 11.30am.

There was mixed news within the financial sector, Irish Life and Permanent was the biggest mover up 11c to €1.91. The other three all bucked the positive trend, Bank of Ireland dropped 1c to €1.10, Anglo Irish Bank was down 8c to 47c and AIB fell 2c to €2.25.
