Workers to declare preference in Aer Lingus deal

Aer Lingus will today begin the process of evaluating the viability of a compromise cost-cutting package that has secured overwhelming support from SIPTU staff.

The deal was negotiated last week as an alternative to a management plan to outsource around 1,300 jobs.
