ISEQ slightly ahead at close

The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed at 2,472.58 today, an increase of 7.43 points or 0.30%.

Anglo Irish Bank was the only one of the major banks to record a loss, down 4c to 88c. AIB was up 7c to €2.40, Bank of Ireland was up 16c to €1.38 and Irish Life & Permanent was up 13c to €1.36.
