Oil prices rallied into the close on Friday and eked out further gains in Far East trading today as the focus for traders switched to the upcoming informal meeting of OPEC members this week.
Iran, Venezuela, Libya and Kuwait have all issued comments in support of production cuts, adding to the 1.5 million bpd reduction agreed in October.
