ISEQ down slightly

The ISEQ steadied today but still showed a small loss, inching down 15.93 points to 2,710.72.

Allied Irish Banks was the only firm in the financial sector that gained ground, climbing 13c to €3.52. Anglo Irish Bank was unchanged at €1.80. Bank of Ireland slipped 5c to €1.60, with Irish Life And Permanent enduring a 45c slide to €3.10.
