ISEQ dips in morning trading

The ISEQ index of Irish shares was down 51 points this morning to 3,771.11 by 11am.

There was mostly negative news within the financial sector, Bank of Ireland suffered the biggest drop of 33c to €4.29. AIB fell 14c to €6.53 with Anglo Irish Bank down 5c to €4.99. Irish Life and Permanent bucked the negative trend, gaining 8c to €6.13.
