The number of tourist trips by Europeans and US residents to Ireland fell in July 2008 compared to the same month in 2007.

The number of tourist trips by Europeans and US residents to Ireland fell in July 2008 compared to the same month in 2007.

The most dramatic fall was in trips by British people; 17% fewer Britons travelled here in the month. The US was down 6.1% to 137,100.
