Substantial skills shortage despite downturn, says expert

There is a substantial skills shortage in a number of sectors despite the economic downturn, it has been revealed.

Areas such as information technology, financial services and in particular healthcare are still finding it very difficult to secure appropriate staff, according to Ernst & Young.
