Positive start for ISEQ in morning trading

The ISEQ index of Irish shares was up by 14 points to 4,536.32 by 11.15am.

There was mostly positive news within the financial sector, Irish Life and Permanent bounded ahead gaining 18c to €6.83. AIB jumped 7c to €8.77 with Bank of Ireland up a modest 5c to €5.78. Anglo Irish Bank lingered in negative territory falling 2c to €5.70.
