The ISEQ index of Irish shares was up 48.03 points to 5,626.15 by close of business today.
The financials has a mixed day. Bank of Ireland (up 28c to €7.03) and Irish Life & Permanent (up 12c to €9.52) both showed good gains. However, Anglo Irish Bank dropped 18c to €6.96, with Allied Irish Bank down 4c to €11.21.
