ISEQ down in morning trading

The ISEQ index of Irish shares dipped this morning, falling 23.60 points to 6,090.66 by 11am.

There was mixed news within the financial sector, AIB and Bank of Ireland both jumped 7c to €13.05 and €8.38 consecutively. Irish Life and Permanent was up a modest 3c to €10.73 with Anglo Irish Bank dropping 2c off its share price to €8.40.
