The ISEQ index of Irish shares charged ahead 25.05 points this morning to stand at 6,176.72.
One of the morning's most impressive earners, Bank of Ireland, shot up 19c to €8.25 in a 2.36% gain. AIB came in a close second on the financial front with a 13c jump to €13.23.
