ISEQ makes slight gains

The ISEQ index of Irish shares was up slightly this evening by 31.21 points to 6460.44.

The financial heavyweights ended the day in positive territory with Anglo Irish Bank leading the way, up 18c to €9.53. Bank of Ireland gained 11c to €8.80 with AIB up 9c to €13.75. Irish Life and Permanent gained a modest 8c to €11.55 by market close.
