ISEQ makes modest gains

The ISEQ-index of Irish shares has made a sluggish start to the morning inching up just 4.29 points to 6,396.79.

Despite the sunny weather the banks saw out a dismal morning on the trading floor posting losses in most cases. AIB and Anglo both fell 6c to €13.54 and €9.34 respectively.
