ISEQ making steady gains

The ISEQ-index of Irish shares made a quiet but promising come back this morning as shares saw modest increases across the market floor.

Blue chips stocks in the financial sector made steady gains with Anglo climbing 15c to €9.23 and IL&P rose 14c to €11.35. AIB and Anglo Irish made positive but less strident gains with AIB up 4c to €13.79 while Bank of Ireland crept forward 5c to €9.65 since trading began this morning.
