Redesigned M&S store open in Grafton St

Marks and Spencer’s re-designed and extended store in Grafton Street was unveiled earlier today.

The 75,000sq ft M&S re-launched under Marks & Spencer’s new look with black flooring, bright lighting and modern design. The store now incorporates a number of initiatives in line with Plan A, M&S' 100-point, five-year 'eco' plan. Water saving features such as dual flush toilets and aerated taps have been fitted in the staff and customer facilities and energy efficient escalators and lighting with movement sensors have been introduced to help save energy. 80% of all construction waste materials have been recycled.

Eleanor Dalley, Marks & Spencer Grafton Street Store Manager, commented: "The redevelopment of the store has been an exciting time for us. We’ve really appreciated the patience of our customers during the refurbishment and have already had some really positive reactions to the final results.

“Grafton Street is Dublin’s premium shopping street and we’re confident customers will enjoy their shopping trips to our fantastic re-designed store even more.”
