House completions are increasingly reflecting the slowdown evident since early last year in lead indicators of activity, according to the results of a survey issued today.

According to the AIB Housing Market Monitor report, there were just 4,023 new properties completed in March, making a total of 14,010 for the first three months of the year, compared to 20,018 at the same stage last year, a decline of 30%.
