Banking gains boost ISEQ

Banking stocks were riding high this afternoon as shares in the financial sector recorded gains across the board.

IL&P took up lead with a whopping 46c jump to €13.31. AIB also made impressive gains, up 30c to €14.47. Bank of Ireland jumped 15c to €10 even. While Anglo, lagging behind slightly reported a 6c increase to €9.35.
