Taoiseach: Economy faces tighter management

The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, has told the Dáil that the there will be closer and tighter management of the economy for the remainder of 2008.

Mr Ahern was responding to questions from Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny, who said the country was currently on a wrong course.
