February redundancies up 80% on last year

FÁS and the ESRI have reported a slight fall in employment expectations among private-sector firms.

The two organisations say their latest survey has found a slight rise in the percentage of employers who expect to lay off staff and a fall in the percentage who expect to increase staff numbers over the coming months.
