C&C Group reports further decline in sales

Magners cider producer C&C Group said sales in the year to February 29 were 9% lower as poor summer weather hit sales of its flagship brand in the UK.

The update was in line with guidance given in January, with Dublin-based C&C expecting the premium cider category to return to growth this year.
