ISEQ down almost 40 points

The ISEQ-index of Irish shares continued its freefall this afternoon slipping 38.98 ponts to 6498.93 by close this evening.

AIB made the biggest losses in the financial sector dropping 58c to €14. IL&P fell 30c to €10. Anglo fell back €17 to €9.47, while Bank of Ireland slipped 11c at €9.48.
