Eircom announces reduction in cost of landline-to-mobile calls

Eircom today announced that is has reduced the cost of most landline-to-mobile calls.

With effect from today, eircom will reflect the recently amended "mobile termination rates" (MTR) as introduced by mobile operators, Vodafone, O2 and Meteor.

The MTR amendments, the company claims, will result in savings of up to 28% on calls to mobiles, excluding 02 evening, as a result of this price reduction.
