Google results add to US economic worries

Internet search engine Google reinforced fears of a recession in the United States after disappointing fourth quarter profits and sales figures.

The technology giant reported profits of US$1.21bn (€813,821) in the final three months of the year, up 17% on the fourth quarter in 2006.
