Building slowdown 'leading to rise in male unemployment'

IBEC have said that the slowdown in housing activity last year has resulted in a significant rise in the number of men out of work.

The most recent Live Register figures from the CSO show that the total number on the Live Register in December increased by 2,100, but was 15,100 higher than the same month last year.
