Hundreds of Virgin Atlantic staff have volunteered to work during strikes by cabin crew due to start next week in a row over pay, the airline said today.

Hundreds of Virgin Atlantic staff have volunteered to work during strikes by cabin crew due to start next week in a row over pay, the airline said today.

The number of employees saying they will work means Virgin will be able to run a near normal service, despite two 48-hour walkouts due to be held from January 9 and again a week later, said officials.
