Bad day for the ISEQ

The ISEQ index of Irish shares suffered a major slump today, tumbling 279.82 points to 7,021.18.

Construction company CRH was among the biggest losers of the day, sliding €1.00 to €25.15.

The financial houses were heavily hit. AIB fell €0.57 to €15.58 while Anglo followed suit in dropping €0.50 to €10.85.

BoI slipped €0.42 to €10.18 and IL&P were down €0.90 to €12.46.
