Job growth in construction sector falls to just 1.7%

New figures published by the Central Statistics Office today provide further evidence of the slowdown in the construction sector.

The CSO says employment in this second increased by just 1.7% in the year to the end of August, compared to 10.2% in the previous 12-month period.
