Construction firms at most pessimistic in five years

Employers in the construction sector are at their most pessimistic in more than five years, according to the ESRI and FAS.

In their latest employment and vacancies survey, the two organisations say the "net employment expectations indicator" for the construction sector was down 25% last month.
