Consumers urged to shop around for home insurance

Consumers can save up to €100-a-year by shopping around for the cheapest possible home insurance, according to a survey by the Financial Regulator.

The survey focused on buildings and contents insurance for homes in Clare, Dublin, Kerry, Leitrim, Meath, Tipperary and Waterford.
