ISEQ in impressive performance

The ISEQ-index of Irish shares experienced a surge this afternoon up 43.79 points at 7836.77.

The upward swing was fuelled mainly by the financial big guns with Bank of Ireland recording a 40c jump to €13, Anglo Irish shot up 30c also at €13.
