The volume of retail sales increased by 6.8% in July compared to July 2006. There was a monthly increase of 0.1%.

The volume of retail sales increased by 6.8% in July compared to July 2006. There was a monthly increase of 0.1%.

The value of retail sales increased by 7.9 % in the month compared to July 2006.

The three-month April 2007-June 2007 volume figures show that, compared with the three months ending March 2007, the largest increase in the volume of sales was in the clothing sector (+6.4%).

The largest decrease in the volume of sales was in the motors sector, which was down 3.1%.
