Bank customers warned to beware of Internet 'phishing'

Irish consumers are being warned to beware of bogus emails claiming to come from banks and financial institutions.

The Irish Payment Services Organisation says people should beware of so-called "phishing" aimed at luring customers into parting with their bank account or credit-card information.
