Glanbia acquires Canadian nutritions business

Dairy foods and nutritional ingredients firm Glanbia plc today announced the acquisition of a Canadian-based nutritional business, Pizzeys's Milling.

Pizzey's, which has gross assets of €6.87m, produces and markets nutritional ingredients predominantly derived from flax seed, a primary source of plant based Omega-3 fatty acids.
