Kingspan profits up 30%

Construction company Kingspan saw a 30% increase in before-tax profits for the first half of the year, compared with the same period last year, up to €108.2m from €83.4m. Sales were up 34.4% in the period.

Kingspan boss Gene Murtagh said: "Overall, with earnings growth in excess of 30%, the first half of 2007 represented an excellent outturn for Kingspan."
