EasyJet continues strong growth

Low-cost airline easyJet said today it carried 3.7 million passengers during July, an increase of 17.5% on the same month a year earlier.

The airline, which serves 318 routes to 83 airports, added that it remained on track for profits growth of between 40% and 50% during this financial year.
