British Airways, fined £270m (€401m) earlier this week for colluding on passenger and cargo flight pricing, today announced improved profits for the spring 2007 period.

British Airways, fined £270m (€401m) earlier this week for colluding on passenger and cargo flight pricing, today announced improved profits for the spring 2007 period.

The beleaguered airline made a pre-tax profit of £289m (€429m) in April-June 2007 compared with a pre-tax profit of £191 million in April-June last year.
