BSkyB on track with subscriber target in UK
Broadcasting giant BSkyB today said it remained “firmly” on track with plans to sign up 10 million customers by the end of the decade, after it attracted 406,000 net new subscribers over the past year.
The group, which has 8.58 million subscribers, added it was six months ahead of plan with targets to cover 70% of UK households with its broadband offering, as it unveiled a 6% rise in underlying group operating profits at £958m (€1.4bn).
