Banks urged to manage risk with customers

The Financial Regulator is calling on financial institutions to make sure they don't consign their customers to a lifetime of unmanageable debt.

Increasing interest rates, high levels of borrowing and the possibility of a slowdown in the economy could lead to consumers finding it difficult to make repayments.
